Please spread the word, as we are always looking for participants and volunteers.

(No experience needed, just a big smile and a pair of blue jeans and sneakers!)

The “Kids Being Kids” program is FREE of charge for kids and their families affected by Cancer, in partnership with CIBC, OPACC (Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer), Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation, Gilda’s Club of Toronto, St. John Ambulance (Therapy Dogs), Clif Kid Zbar, Don’t Call Me Cupcake, Pizza Pizza, Maplelodge chicken dogs and special appearances by a few Super Heroes!

The event will be held on Saturday, March 25th from 9:00AM to 11:45AM. If you want to volunteer please email us and arrive by 8:45AM.

Our ”Kids Being Kids” program invites kids and their families to enjoy all the skatepark has to offer, including scooters, knee-slides, a foam pit, Sony PlayStation room, and, of course, skateboarding. There will also be a vert and street demo in our vert ramp by some of the park’s amazing volunteers and experienced riders.

There will be a complimentary pizza lunch, chicken dogs and Gatorade/water for all attending!

Kids and parents are welcome to come out and lend a helping hand with waiver signing, food and beverage distribution, group stretching, and assisting kids with their chosen activities. No equipment or expertise is required, just jeans, sneakers and a big smile!

We are also looking for more families who may be affected by cancer to try out our program. All information will be kept private and confidential. Limited space available and registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
